The Collections
My work is divided into three categories - Paintings, Textile Art and Archived Works.
Paintings
My paintings are created using a combination of oil paint, oil sticks and oil pastel. The layering of paint and pastel creates elements of texture and subtle variations of colour.
Textile Art
My textiles pay hommage to the traditional weaving techniques of México. I use handmade wooden frames called bastidores and a continuous warp. I also use hand spun and dyed sheep wool.
Archived Work
Here you will find many images of work created over 40 years as an artist. From my geometríc series - musical and organic - to my other series of Tucson sunsets, abstractions and more.
